Golden eyes compliment the eyes in so many different ways! Whether it's your wedding day, girls night out or just a regular day at the office, golden eyes jazz up any occasion. Gold opens the eye lid up, it brings out blues/greens on eye color, gold is bold making the eyes pop, and blend well with other shadow colors! I have been liking shimmer shadows on brides the more I do weddings! When done right this look can be very complimenting. I also love to play around and make a bold golden eye more for a fun night out on the town!I like to start with a paint pot available at www.maccosmetics.com.

Paint pots are excellent eyeshadow primers that come with different colors. Mac paint pots cover your entire eye area and even out the skin tone. These help in stopping the eye shadows from creasing and the pigments from fading. They enhance the color of the eyeshadows and triples their staying power. My favorite paint pot color is painterly, it makes all my shadow colors pop! When determining what color to use keep skin tone and eye shadow colors in mind! Paint pots can also be used as eye shadows alone, they have a lot of amazing colors!
