Make sure it is mixed thoroughly!This recipe can have a shelf life in the fridge of 3 or 4 days.My salad I made yesterday, right before I got to the fun part of mushing it all together with my hands!!

Food is our medicine that heals the body and keeps it functioning properly. I know what some people are thinking, "ew kale, it's tough, bitter and doesn't taste very good". Good news people! I have found a kale salad recipe that you are sure to love and won't want to stop eating! You can have it as a side, an appetizer, or a main dish. All of the ingredients have their own skin, hair and health benefits as well. We want to keep our bodies healthy, our skin glowing and our hair luminous!

​You will need:
1 bunch of kale
1 lemon (juice)
1 onion of your choice
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1/4 sunflower seeds (optional)
​1 large avocado, diced
1 clove of garlic (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste

Kale is low in calorie and high in fiber. This leafy green is filled with nutrients and vitamins like folate, magnesium and iron. Kale is filled with powerful antioxidants. High in vitamin A for vision and skin, while helping to prevent lung and oral cavity cancers. This green veggie helps detox the body and maintains liver health. Doesn't sound so gross after all!
